Helping out in the community: the ultimate team building activity!
Client Request
The initiative was born out of the forward-looking vision of Heineken Italia’s finance department, which wanted to go beyond the classic corporate event. The company aimed to create an experience of social value and meaning for all participants.
We therefore suggested a Social Team Building, combining group activities, personal growth and positive impact on the local and surrounding community.
Our Project
We involved the client in an innovative social team building project in collaboration with Legambiente, a national environmental charity.
The initiative, which was part of Legambiente’s "Clean Up the World" campaign, took place in the picturesque Trotter Park in Milan, a location strategically chosen to accommodate 150 enthusiastic participants and put all of them to work at once.
The programme, meticulously organised, began with an informative briefing about the park and then the participants were divided into teams. The groups, coordinated by expert and passionate tutors, set out to clean up the park and restore it to its former glory: from graffiti removal to fixing parts of the decor, from planting new trees and bushes to cleaning specific areas, they did precious work for the local residents.
Particular attention was paid to the restoration of the park's historical elements. The experience was further enhanced by a sustainable lunch, provided by a renowned Lombard farmhouse, to underline the commitment to sustainability and the promotion of local excellence.
Outcome
The highlight of the day was captured in a group photo that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the event. The satisfaction and deep sense of achievement were palpable among the participants, confirming the resounding success of the endeavour.
